In 2024, Woburn worked with a multinational European manufacturer to successfully relocate a corporate team to a major city in New Zealand. The team were brought in to complete a multi-million-dollar national infrastructure project which was initiated back in 2021 and will progress until late 2026.
The relocation process itself spanned several months with multiple individuals, families and groups arriving over a dispersed period, requiring not only immigration assistance but relocations services. Our relocation team was able to assist with all aspects of the relocation process with a strong focus on the accommodation needs of the employees, which was a priority for the employer. We were able to successfully coordinate initial temporary accommodation options, transitioning into more long-term individual and family accommodation as well as assisting with accommodation solutions for a large group of senior skilled individuals.
After finding homes for them, we wanted our guests to feel at home in New Zealand, so we ensured that we provided all the guidance and assistance we could with helping them settle in, from arranging bank accounts and driver’s licences to suggestions on the best local restaurants as well as must-see places to visit on both islands. To date, the team have settled in comfortably with lots of adventures being had by all.
