A new online declaration form has been introduced for international travellers entering the Christchurch and Wellington airports from 10th July 2023. This form will become available for travellers entering Queenstown airport from mid to late July. For travellers entering New Zealand’s biggest and busiest airport, Auckland Airport, this form will not become available until August.
The online declaration form will gradually replace the paper arrival cards that passengers fill out on the plane, even though the paper arrival cards will continue to be accepted for a while after the new online form is introduced.
The New Zealand Traveller Declaration will contain questions about the potential health risks, customs, immigration, and biosecurity.
