Last month we listed what we think are the top ten foods that New Zealand is famous for, and then because there were so many on our long list, we added another ten in the ‘honourable mentions’ at the end.
This got us thinking though. The staff here at Woburn are a pretty mixed bunch from a range of backgrounds, so we showed some of our team the list and asked them to rank their favs, either from the article, or their own personal choices.

It’s interesting that quite a few of the foods that we featured in the Top Ten Famous NZ Foods are considered delicacies, like crayfish, green lipped mussels and New Zealand Lamb (especially for people overseas), so it’s no wonder that they feature high on most of our staff picks.
